General description
Lead Delivery Solution Manager / LDSM/ leads major deals on behalf of the LBU and Deutsche Telekom internationally and deliver solutions from within Deutsche Telekom portfolio, standards and principles. The owner of this role provides fast determination of multiple business requirements and provides the most appropriate and the best-fit solution architecture, design and costs to meet the business requirements.

•    LDSM leads a team to create a solution(s), costing and approves the proposal of the solution produced by the Deal Team. 
•    LDSM is responsible for staffing and managing of the technical part of the Deal Team. In Request For Proposal defines staffing and key roles.
•    LDSM identifies opportunities for adding business value via reduction of operational costs and improvement of service levels. 
•    Creates and regularly reviews the contract draft and documentation.
•    Handles discussions and collaboration with 3rd party partners in regards to the deal, back to back agreements and integration into the Deal team.
•    LDSM demonstrates ongoing familiarity with Market trends.
•    LDSM presents the Solutions and Solutioning approach, up to board-level audiences (internal and external) and handles the stipulations and takeaways. 
•    LDSM presents multiple solutions and articulates chosen solution(s) with confidence and influence to customers. 
•    Lead Delivery Solution Manager owns the architectural design through the initial phases of the design (request, concept and high level), and hands over the design after customer order for detailed phases of the design to delivery management. Ensures that the work is always of the highest industry standards and qualities as set by Deutsche Telekom, and meets agreed deadlines. 
•    Acts as a facilitator and mentor to more junior members of the team and others within the organization. 

Management scope
Coordination and cooperation with different teams of Solution designers, Costing experts, Bid managers, Project managers, Product owners in deal project mode (15 people directly and over 30 people indirectly). This senior role requires communication, negotiation and influencing skills internationally within Deutsche Telekom, customers, partners and suppliers. This role mandates the leadership of a team of experts from third-party partners, including the cooperation of stakeholders within the bid phase. Responsibility for tender deals categorized in the highest risk levels.

Final salary is negotiable. 
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2 300€/brutto.

•    Solution Architecture or Delivery Service Manager experience - advantage
•    Broad level of knowledge across enterprise ICT technologies ideally will have the depth of experience in one or more specialist enterprise technologies
•    LDSM needs to be adaptable, changes his approach and methods to meet differing circumstances and audiences. 
•    Commercially aware, managing costs on own projects and across the team and very large projects
•    Can manage the prioritization of their workload as well as others and be able to use management escalation when appropriate.
•    Can plan work activities over the medium and long term to support strategic activities and initiatives.
•    Is able to lead a team on either a permanent or project basis.
•    Creates formal networks internally and externally.
•    Can present complex ideas, concepts and technical solutions to high-level non-technical audiences.
•    Is able to anticipate potential objections and prepares cases accordingly.
•    Can influence others, and has strong interpersonal skills.
•    Acts as a facilitator and mentor to more junior members of the team and others within the organization.
•    Able to adjust to dynamic working times.
