Your Tasks
Als Network Engineer unterstützt du unser 5-köpfiges DC LAN Team beim Entwickeln, Testen, Betreiben und Automatisieren von Netzwerkservices für unsere Kunden diverser Branchen. Dazu gehören im Wesentlichen folgende Aufgaben und Verantwortungsbereiche:
- Konzeption und Betrieb der Netzwerk-Systeme in den Bereichen Data Center LAN (Cisco Nexus, ACI), Office LAN, WLAN sowie Internet- und WAN-Erschliessung
- Konzeption und Betrieb von netzwerknahen Diensten wie Monitoring, NTP und IP/DNS/DHCP Administration in EffcientIP
- Konzeption und Betrieb von Dualprovider Internet und WAN Service Area (inkl. IPv6 und BGP Routing)
- Troubleshooting von Netzwerk- oder netzwerknahen Problemen im 2nd Level sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern
- Planung und Umsetzung von Server-Migrationen von Cisco FabricPath / N5K zu Cisco ACI / N9K
- Co-Entwicklung der Automatisierung von Konfigurations- und Prozessmanagement für Netzwerk Infrastrukturen mit Ansible
- Fachtechnische Unterstützung im Offering-Prozess
- Zusammenarbeit im internationalen Umfeld (Projekte, Operations, Kunden)
Your Profile
- Abgeschlossenes IT-Studium (Uni, FH, HF), idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Telekommunikation/Netzwerk oder mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Netzwerk (Bewerbungen von Juniors sind willkommen!)
- Knowhow im Bereich Datacenter LAN Umfeld – Cisco ACI und Nexus Spine and Leaf Design
- Kenntnisse im Netzwerkbereich (SPT, LACP, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS); speziell für Cloud Service Provider (Cisco ACI, BGP, IPv6, etc.) von Vorteil
- Erfahrung mit Cisco Equipment (APIC, Nexus 9K/5K, IOS)
- Fähigkeit Ansible Playbooks zu verstehen/erweitern
- Kenntnisse der Betriebssysteme Unix/Linux sowie übergreifende Kenntnisse im Bereich Skripting (Bash, Python) und Virtualisierungsplattformen sind von Vorteil
- Flair für Architektur- und Designtätigkeiten und ebenso deren praktische Umsetzung
- Freude an der Arbeit in einem kollegialen Team innerhalb eines agilen Umfelds
- Bereitschaft, sich in neue Themen einzuarbeiten und sich darin zu professionalisieren
- Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse mindestens auf Niveau C1
