Your Tasks
As a Senior Strategic Sourcer – NT Infrastructure (m/f/d) you will lead procurement projects of higher complexity at the corporate and local levels and manage the relationship with selected suppliers of a bigger size. You drive the definition and execution of the global category strategy and define / execute project strategies. You are also responsible for the achievement of targets and provide continued support to countries on signed deals during the contract duration. This includes the following duties for your sub-categories assigned:
- Define and implement the sourcing- and supplier-strategies of the assigned sub-categories, including e.g.
- Antennas, Pylons / Masts,
- Fiber optical cables,
- Optical distribution technologies (like Central office equipment, Cabinets, Splice closures, Pipes / Ducts),
- FTTH inhouse equipment,
- Optical accessories
- Analyze and manage the countries demands and ensure potential for cross-group optimization and bundling
- Lead demand-based RFPs & RFQs and support countries during implementation phases
- Define/execute cost optimization levers and realization plans
- Ensure close collaboration with senior Procurement and Technology stakeholders across the Groups, its operating companies and our Partners
- Perform active contract controlling and manage change requests for contracts in place
Your Profile
You hold a University degree or an MBA in the area of Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Technology or a qualification of the same level.
You also possess the following skills and experience:
- Professional experience in procurement of 5 years minimum
- Very good knowledge of network technologies, ideally passive infrastructure products
- Experience in sourcing project coordination, managing stakeholders and suppliers
- Profound analytical competency and strategic thinking skills
- Very good knowledge of contract law
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven business-, result- and service-orientation and capacity to work in a multi-cultural and fast-changing environment
- Fluency in English and German, French as a plus
- Willingness to travel
