Your Tasks
As a "Sustainability Engineer Public Cloud" you understand the latest developments in the areas of cloud and sustainability. You will develop concepts for our Open Telekom Cloud, especially in the area of Green IT, and implement them with measurable success.

- Develop and implement sustainability concepts and standards for a public cloud as responsible project manager
- Design and monitor innovations increasing measurably sustainability
- Work hardware-oriented at the console and get your hands "dirty"
- Prepare and manage external audits and certifications of our platform
- Be a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop marketing as well as communication concepts and research market trends on Green-IT
Your Profile
You have an university degree in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in IT, ideally with cloud technologies.
In addition, you bring the following knowledge and experience with you:
- Detailed knowledge of sustainability concepts and their implementation in IT
- Knowledge of optimizing energy and heat consumption, pollutant emissions and recycling
- Insight into at least one of the following: site management, enterprise server solutions, enterprise storage solutions, rack-level power design/management
- Hands-on experience with IT audits and certifications as well as knowledge of agile development processes
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- You will be working in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements

We run Open Telekom Cloud! Open Telekom Cloud is a public cloud standard product based on open source community software and driven by principles of DevSecOps.
