Your Tasks

As Senior Transition Manager (m/f/d) you will take over the overall responsibility for international Complex & Major projects. With your project team, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the T&T solution in close cooperation with Sales and the relevant specialist areas of Delivery. You will advise the customer on optimization potentials based on the T-Systems standard portfolio and conduct customer presentations up to CxO level.

Your other tasks will include:

  • Responsibility for all T&T decisions, from pre-sales planning to launch and handover of services.
  • Identifying and analyzing customer requirements, developing customer-specific overall solution concepts within the framework of national and international offer processes, taking into account technical and business aspects
  • Conducting due diligence in line with requirements to safeguard the solution design, including minimization of risk positions and development of a migration strategy
  • Design of an economic and quality-assured transition and transformation phase, testing and application of the latest technologies for future solution designs
  • Responsibility for measures and proposals to achieve sales objectives in projects as well as representation of solution designs also in front of committees such as the Risk Review Board on CxO level

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed university degree, preferably with a technical and/or business background, or comparable professional education
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the organization and execution of large and complex IT projects and services in an international environment, including large transition and/or transformation projects from the planning phase to the operational phase of the contracted solution
  • Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud platforms
  • Very good knowledge of ITIL processes with certification
  • Expert knowledge of project management and methodology and extensive practical experience in leading project managers as well as experience in project management of international and complex projects
  • Very good management, delegation and control skills
  • Business fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel internationally and to change project locations, experience abroad is also required
