Your Tasks
Als System Engineer Streaming Technology entwickeln Sie für unser Produkt MagentaTV hoch komplexe Systeme und Services unter Berücksichtigung ganzheitlicher Geschäftsanforderungen und Implikationen entlang des gesamten Entwicklungsprozesses (Lifecycle) weiter.
- Sie erarbeiten komplexe, technischen Konzepte/Spezifikationen von Systemen inkl. der Technologieberatung auch auf Managementlevel
- Sie konzipieren und definieren Standards für Systemtests, Testautomatisierung und Systemdokumentation
- Sie koordinieren und unterstützen komplexe Rollouts von TV/VOD-gestützten Prozessen/Systemen in den Regelbetrieb
- Sie steuern interne oder externe Partner zur Systementwicklung und arbeiten eng mit anderen Teams im internationalen Umfeld zusammen
- Sie leiten Projekte mit strategischer Relevanz
Your Profile
Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium im Bereich IT, z. B. in Informatik, Software Engineering oder Computer Sciences und bringen mindestens 3-5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Umfeld OTT/Live Streaming mit.
Des Weiteren zeichnen Sie sich durch besondere Kenntnisse sowie Fähigkeiten aus:
- Kenntnisse der gängigen Streaming- und DRM Technologien (MPEG, DASH, HLS, H.254, H.265,...)
- Kenntnis von Logik und Aufbau gängiger VoD-Player (iOS, Android, SmartTV)
- Analyse, Konfiguration und Einsatz von Player Komponenten (ExoPlayer, dash.js, etc.).
- Erfahrung im Tracen und Debuggen von Player auf diverse HW Plattformen wie z.B. Web/Browser, Android, FireTV, AppleTV, iOS
- Erfahrung und Affinität zu agilen Methoden der Produkt-/Softwareentwicklung
