Technical Product Manager - Identity Services / Mobile Connect

What will you do?

Our products range from cloud native platforms to virtualized/cloudified TelCo network functions and affect thousands of people in today’s connected world. As a Product Manager you guide products through the entire lifecycle by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

Your main tasks include:

  • Understand markets, competition and overall TDI strategy.
  • Deeply understand and communicate the problems of customers and users.
  • Have always the customer’s perspective in mind and be the ambassador for product excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, etc. to drive the product design, roadmap, development, and launch activities.
  • Break down complex problems into product development steps and make thoughtful decisions based on data.
  • Monitor the quality and performance of the launched products, collect user feedback, and constantly drive for better overall user experience.
  • Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and status to a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • When applying for this position, you will be considered for the Technical Product Management chapter at TDI and assigned to our identity and mobile connect product team.

About Identity and Mobile Connect:

  • Identity services are about creating, verifying, and authenticating customers identity
  • Mobile Connect (GSMA standard) is a portfolio of mobile-based secure identity services and products delivered by mobile operators. Mobile operators protect customers (business/consumers) against fraud with Mobile Connect services and products e.g. account take over protection, number verify or seamless authentication
  • EU ID, known also as eIDAS 2.0, is an initiative of the European Commission and EU Member States aiming enabling all EU citizens, residents, and business to identify themselves, or provide confirmation of certain personal information. It will be used for both public and private services across EU

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor's or University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Economics or equivalent experience building and delivering technical products.
  • More than 6 years of experience in the field of product management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as Product Manager, including Product Management methodologies.
  • Several years of experience in creating roadmaps, discovering requirements, and describing product features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in orchestrating cross-functional teams to achieve product success from conception to launch.
  • Experience in measuring product success along key product metrics as well as preparing and/or supporting business case calculations and financial planning processes.  
  • Experience in developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Identity Services/Products/Platforms. Experience with GSMA Mobile Connect framework would be an advantage.  
  • Experience with agile work methods
  • Basic knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Engineering, Project Management, UX, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing
  • Experience in collaboration with DT national companies would be an advantage.
