Our goal is to make life easy, so take a look at the tips for your application at Deutsche Telekom.
After your employment contract has been signed there’s usually still a while until your first day in the office. Why not use this time to familiarize yourself with your team and the tasks you’ll be doing?
We will support you from the time you conclude your contract and provide guidance for your first weeks as part of the Group. But how? With our onboarding app! In addition to a checklist to help you get prepared, you will find a huge amount of information in the app about Deutsche Telekom, your department, our values, our trainings offers, and much more.

Your manager will also assign you a buddy from your future team who can answer all your questions and show you how things work within the team. This might be which tools are used for collaboration, for example, and what the team’s biggest priorities are. Thanks to this, getting started at the company is made easy and you will soon feel part of the magenta family.
This is also very important to our Board of Management, who regularly attend our international virtual onboarding event to greet the new employees and give them an insight into our strategy and current topics. It’s something to look forward to – plus the rest of the items on the agenda for the event, in which you can interactively switch between different topics and networking opportunities.
You can also rely on us to provide you with regular feedback, since that’s part of our culture. Your manager will help you find your way around and develop – that also goes on long after the first 100 days are over, of course.
