IT security experts are in demand. We will educate and train you in-house to become a “cyber security professional” with our certified study program. Together with IHK Köln (Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and the Open C³S university alliance, we will educate and train you to become a real security professional. This will give you the ideal foundation to play an active role in shaping one of digital society’s most important innovation areas. To enroll for this program, you will have completed vocational training in IT or an appropriate study course. 

Goal:

The goal of the study program is to train young IT talents to become cyber security experts to ensure you're also ready for the future.  

Training:

The 2.5-year part-time further-training course closely links theory and practice.

Qualification:

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will receive an IHK certificate as well as ECTS credits that can be recognized in certain study courses.

IT security specialists and experts are essential for Telekom Security when accompanying customers in their secure digital transformation. Security is an issue across all corporate areas, is a matter that begins in the users’ and customers’ minds, and extends to personal, physical, and IT security.

Our employees are the key factors in successfully meeting the security requirements of our customers. Therefore, we teamed up with the RWTH Business School to develop our Digital Security Practitioner Program, a study course that uses your potential and enhances your skills. 

Goal:

Our Digital Security Practitioner Program combines the acquisition of skills with the practical study of collaboration across functions and departments. 

Training:

The 6-month part-time program is a virtual course and is accompanied by two in-person events. Therefore, participants are expected to demonstrate a high degree of initiative from the very first day. The course consists of four different modules at the RWTH Aachen Business School and is rounded off with a security challenge. 

Qualification:

Once you have completed the program, you will receive an internationally recognized university certificate incl. confirmation of ECTS credits that can be recognized in certain study courses.

The Junior Program was designed to make it easier for our young talents to settle into the company and has now become a fixed part of the onboarding process. 

In addition to developing functional skills, participants attend various training events covering topics such as methods, technology and security, and personal development. You can also build a network for sharing knowledge and information.

Goal:

The focus of the program is getting to know our company better. It also develops your functional, methodical, and personal skills. In addition, the program gives you the opportunity to network with other participants and work on a project with them. 

Training:

The 9-month scheme takes place in a blended learning format. There are both virtual and in-person events. The latter help to boost networking skills in particular.

Outcome:

You will receive a certificate when you complete the program.

The Technical Security Summit is an annual training event for employees by Telekom Security employees. In addition to presentations from top-level speakers in the industry, the focus of the summit is on technical training, certification preparation, and soft skill training. More than 30 varied training courses take place in parallel in one week. 

Employees seek out the offerings that are most relevant to them. The training courses are designed to meet the needs of Telekom Security and, in particular, market requirements, ensuring you are always kept up to date. 

Goal:

The goal of the training week is to offer a wide variety of training courses, certification preparation, etc. to as many employees as possible. 

Training:

One-week in-person event with wide variety of courses on offer. Before the summit begins, you can register for the relevant courses to ensure you are guaranteed a place at the event. 

Outcome:

Many different preparation courses for subsequent certification schemes are offered during the Technical Security Summit.
