Hannes Wittig, born in 1965, has been Head of Group Investor Relations since June 2015. As such he is responsible for Deutsche Telekom's relationships with its institutional and and private investors. Hannes Wittig reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Christian Illek. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Hannes Wittig was Head of European Telecommunications Research at JPMorgan in London. Between 1992 and 1999, Hannes Wittig worked for the consulting company McKinsey & Co. Hannes Wittig studied politics, economics, philosophy and sociology in Munich, Hagen, Oxford, and Chicago.
