Hamburg: Simply park and pay
Soon it will be easy to park in Hamburg. The Deutsche Telekom Park and Joy app makes parking simple.
Two clicks on your smartphone is all it takes instead of feeding the meter. You can also use Park and Joy to extend your parking time without having to return to your car. Parking inspectors can easily tell if you are using digital parking by checking your license plate.
The "Find" function will be added to the app next year. The new addition will tell you where you can find available parking and then direct you there. Deutsche Telekom will be installing sensors in up to 11,000 parking spaces to make it all possible.
Other cities like Bonn, Duisburg, Dortmund, Darmstadt and Moers are also planning to introduce Park and Joy.
