Sundar Pichai

Sundar Pichai has been a Director since March 2011. Mr. Pichai joined Google in 2004 as Vice President of Product Management, overseeing search and consumer products such as iGoogle, Google Toolbar, Desktop Search and Gadgets, Google Pack, and Gears. In 2011, he became Senior Vice President of Google Chrome and Apps, which includes the Chrome browser and operating system, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Drive. Sundar has recently been promoted to CEO under the company’s Alphabet restructuring. 

Sundar migrated to the U.S in ‘93 to pursue his Master of Science in Stanford University and then MBA from Wharton School of Business. During his study at Wharton, he was awarded the ‘Siebel scholar’ and ‘Palmer Scholar’ titles. Prior to joining Google, Mr. Pichai worked with the engineering and product management divisions of semiconductor maker Applied Materials Inc. and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Over the years, he was dedicated to building high-tech products
