Professor Dr. Wilfried Bos

Professor Wilfried Bos is Professor of Educational Research and Quality Assurance at TU Dortmund University and Director of the Institute for School Development Research. His fields of expertise include international empirical comparative educational research and school development research. He is also head of the international student performance assessments IGLU 2001, 2006 and 2011, TIMSS 2007 and 2011, and ICILS 2013 for Germany, among other roles. In the field of digital media, he is also head of the "Schule digital – Der Länderindikator 2015– 2017" ("Digital school – the federal state barometer 2015–2017") project, which studies the use of digital media in schools on a comparative basis across the federal states.
