Diversity Day - Deutsche Telekom "undertakes" diversity

June 9 will take place under the "Undertake diversity" slogan. On Germany's third Diversity Day, businesses throughout the country will be showing what diversity management means for them. Deutsche Telekom will demonstrate its respect for diversity with an action week focusing on prejudice.

In doing so, the company will be joining in around 1,000 activities expected to take place throughout Germany to mark the Diversity Day. For the first time, the company will be running a shuttle service in the Cologne/Bonn and Frankfurt regions bearing the German Diversity Day logo in order to draw public attention to the day's campaign for more diversity.

Participants and organizers of the campaign day give top priority to overcoming prejudice and, instead, emphasizing the benefits to be gained from diversity in society. This year, the Diversity Charter association, supported by the "Integration through Qualification (IQ)" program and the Federal Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs, is organizing the Diversity Day for the third time.

Alongside activities run by companies and institutions, open-air events will be held in three big German cities for the first time.

Deutsche Telekom is a founding member and one of 2,100 companies that have already signed the Diversity Charter. In doing so, it voices its support for diversity in business and active promotion of diversity management.
