Deutsche Telekom is a member of the ECIL Advisory Group. A group of “Independent European trusted advisors” supporting the EU Commission and Member States in the shaping of the European Cybersecurity approach.

The ECIL members, European Cybersecurity Industry Leaders from different sectors, have analyzed the Commission’s proposal for an EU Cybersecurity Package as well as other current discussions on Cybersecurity regulations, sharing their assessment and recommendations.

The guiding principles and objectives of ECIL’s work are the protection of the cyberspace of the digital economy, the strengthening of the competitiveness of European companies through fostering the further harmonization of the EU’s cyber policy and ultimately successfully completing the EU’s Digital Single Market.
