To reward innovative cloud-software for small and mid-sized businesses Deutsche Telekom is now accepting entries for the “Business Wall of Fame” contest in Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. The contest is geared towards software developer companies and startup founders who would like to promote their app and make it accessible to a wide audience. Of interest are innovative business apps from all industries that simplify work for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).
Participants can only get to the final, if SMBs like their app idea. A community vote will determine the best apps submitted in each country, after which an expert jury will select the national winners, the best international app and the best startup. Each country’s winner can become national Telekom Cloud Partner and win a marketing campaign worth EUR 30.000, while the winning international app can become Cloud Partner of Deutsche Telekom across all six countries. In cooperation with incubator hub:raum Krakow, Deutsche Telekom will also give investment proposal of up to EUR 80.000 to the winner of the best startup category.

Participants can increase their number of votes and chances of winning by activating their community to vote. And voting can pay off: All voters, employees of SMB companies, who will register as supporter of an app in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania, are eligible to win a marketing campaign worth EUR 10.000 for their company. In Poland and Croatia the voters have the chance to win free software. Categories and prizes of the Business Wall of Fame Contest:

- Best International App Telekom partnership in six countries with reach up to 1.3 million SMBs. An excursion to T-Lab Berlin with showcases of innovations.
- Best Startup Investment proposal of up to EUR 80.000 by hub:raum Krakow. An invitation to the “Long Night of Startups” from T-Labs, the key startup event in Berlin, with own presentation space at the fair booth
Contest Schedule:
- Application phase: April 22 – May 22, 2014
- Voting phase: May 22 – June 30, 2014
- Announcement of the winners – July 31 in Romania and Croatia, August 15 in other countries and international prizes
