- "Clubnight" connects the target audience with the Deutsche Telekom brand
- Exclusive content for corporate communication channels
- Cooperation with hot nightclubs in many large German cities
Telekom Electronic Beats is breaking new ground: the international music and lifestyle program of Deutsche Telekom is expanding its portfolio, starting in January, with the Telekom Electronic Beats Clubnight. In collaboration with selected nightclubs in Germany, the Group aims to connect more with the target audience. The event series will kick off on January 14 at the legendary White Noise in Stuttgart.
"Electronic music lives from the experiments of its artists and the enthusiasm of clubgoers. The lifestyle of this music culture, sharing the experience together, has always been a characteristic of our music program," says Ralf Lülsdorf, Head of International Music Marketing Deutsche Telekom. "With our clubnight, we are getting back to the heart of the scene. We are organizing the events together with the leading pioneering clubs in Germany. This lets us address a large number of partygoers, a large part of our target audience, in their familiar environment."
In addition, according to Lülsdorf, the influence of the music program – which was founded in 2000 and is still considered one of the most successful worldwide – has a positive impact on the Group's overall strategy: "With its long-standing, loyal community, our music program addresses the valuable Millenials target audience at eye level. Content and storytelling on our numerous communication channels strike a chord, if you will, with the music and lifestyle-oriented generation in Central and Eastern Europe. With this focus, Electronic Beats contributes toward establishing Deutsche Telekom as Europe's leading telecommunications provider."
Concept convinces Essen club owner
The launch of the Clubnight is the next step in the evolution of Telekom Electronic Beats. The new communication campaign will benefit the digital and social channels of the music platform, such as Facebook and electronicbeats.net. DJ mixes and live reports provide exclusive content for all fans who can't attend in person or who want to experience the events again. In addition, local video features will be produced regularly and published on Electronic Beats TV.
The concept of the Telekom Electronic Beats Clubnight has also won over Ahmet Sisman. "For me, Telekom Electronic Beats is a mainstay of electronic club culture," says the music curator for Essen's Goethebunker's internal events. "I think the collaboration with the different clubs in Germany is important, especially to provide media support to the local scenes in the various cities. Our scene is still growing in popularity and addresses a large community, one that is also closely linked through social media. Clubs are places for musical and cultural exchange and experiences. This cultural asset has to be maintained and promoted. I think this collaboration will be a great start."
