Good showing for Deutsche Telekom at IFA 2016

  • "Besser die EINS. MagentaEINS." – presentations and innovations win over visitors
  • EINS takes center stage and draws in visitors

Deutsche Telekom can look back on a successful few days at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) trade show in Berlin, which closes its doors today. During the first five days of the show, Deutsche Telekom welcomed 152,000 visitors at its booth. The company showcased the importance of digitization and outstanding network quality under the banner "Besser die EINS. MagentaEINS." (Go with the ONE. MagentaONE.), exhibiting offerings, trends and developments from the MagentaEINS product worlds.

EntertainTV once again set a new tone. As of now, every MagentaEINS customer can enjoy the mobile TV package for tablet, smartphone and PC at no extra cost. The exclusive collaboration with Apple also proved to be a winner. Deutsche Telekom customers can trial Apple Music for free for six months and then go on to use the service for a monthly cost of 9.95 euros. What’s more, with DayFlat unlimited, Deutsche Telekom is adding yet another option to its successful Magenta Mobil rate plans. In future, customers will be able to add an unlimited data allowance to their package for 24 hours.

Antje Hundhausen, Vice President Brand Experience at Deutsche Telekom, is confident that this year’s new brand concept, which centered on the EINS portfolio, paid off: "We put that success – and the longer times that visitors spent at our booth – down to the ideal mix of information and interaction, which was the core of our experience-based trade show concept."

Visitors were particularly drawn to the specially designed experience hubs, where they were treated to an interactive introduction to the numerous options that MagentaEINS offers, including MagentaENTERTAINMENT, MagentaZuhause, MagentaMobil, MagentaSERVICE, and MagentaSmartHome. Some 61 percent of IFA visitors found out about Deutsche Telekom’s current product portfolio at the booth, while 80 percent were happy with the support provided by booth personnel. The digital course also proved very popular, using near-field technology to take visitors on a journey through the Magenta product worlds, allowing them to experience all the possibilities in a whole new way.

Visit Deutsche Telekom’s booth in hall 21 a at the IFA trade show in Berlin from September 02-07 to experience our products and services live. Deutsche Telekom’s entire presence at the trade fair is carbon-neutral − all CO2 emissions generated in setting up and operating the booth are fully offset by carbon-reduction projects abroad.
