Head of Marketing Strategy and Brand Management, Dr. Jens Gutsche, to leave the Group

Dr. Jens Gutsche will be leaving the Deutsche Telekom Group at the end of May 2007 by mutual agreement to take on new tasks. Jens Gutsche (40) was the marketing boss of Lufthansa in 2003 when then CEO Kai-Uwe Ricke brought him to Deutsche Telekom as Head of Marketing Strategy and Brand Management. Mr. Gutsche has played a decisive role in driving and successfully developing the Deutsche Telekom Group's central brand management, branding and Group-wide customer relationship management over the past few years. Dr. Christian Illek, T-Com Board member responsible for Marketing, Sales & Services, has been appointed Dr. Gutsche’s successor on an acting basis.
