Has your cell phone crashed? Reparando can help

Whether your display is cracked, your battery won't charge or your phone has suffered water damage – if it's not working, then your problem's more than just a device that's playing up. Being disconnected is a real problem from a professional point of view, and in private life too – nobody wants to be cut off from friends, family and information services.

That's why there's a demand for immediate help to get back online as fast as possible. And that's what Reparando's mobile cell-phone repair service provides. But the clincher is that Reparando whips your cell phone back into shape wherever you are – at home or in your office.

At the moment customers in 20 cities all over Germany can access the service. The Stuttgart-based start-up has carried out more than 10,000 repairs since it was founded in the middle of 2015.

"We design our services for both private and business customers. This means that, aside from the many self-employed and small businesses who use our services, our customers also include many medium-sized firms and even corporations quoted on the DAX index. Our services are particularly in demand in sectors where data privacy and speed of response are important success factors – in business consultancy, for example. At the moment our offerings are focused on iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices and iPads," explains Vincent Osterloh, one of Reparando's founders.

This broad-based and professional approach impressed the people at hub:raum. "The Reparando team has created an optimally organized service, starting with its professional procurement process up to their approach to train and coordinate its technicians. We were seriously impressed. And, of course, the topic is one that goes well with Deutsche Telekom," says Axel Menneking, hub:raum's managing director.

The Reparando team currently includes at total of 80 employees. Of that number, about 20 work at their home base in Stuttgart, while their 60 technicians are spread out over a number of German cities.

The next step for Reparando is to achieve further growth within Germany, to invest in new technology and to develop it further, particularly in order to allow them to plan their technicians' appointments at even shorter notice.
