Starter kit for electronic shelf labeling – only while supplies last

  • Special promotion price for CeBIT: ESL Starter Kit for EUR 599.00 instead of
    EUR 899.00
  • Electronic shelf labeling: change price labels wirelessly and automatically
  • Included in the package: access point, three electronic displays and licenses

T-Systems is offering a starter kit for radio-controlled price labels and displays at a special promotional price for quick-acting retailers. The ESL Starter Kit consists of the L-322E Wireless access point from Lancom Systems and three black-and-white displays from iMagotag with screen sizes 19cm, 11cm and 7cm (diagonal), plus the licenses for the software to control the displays. At CeBIT, the starter kit can be ordered at Deutsche Telekom's stand in hall 4 for EUR 599 instead of EUR 899. The number of packages available at this special price is limited to 40.

The L-322E Wireless controls e-paper displays and also serves as a Wi-Fi access point with integrated iBeacon chipset. This makes the solution particularly interesting for retailers. The merchandise information system uses the access point to send prices, product names, bar codes, or QR codes to electronic price labels on the shelves – for the first time centrally, automatically, and nearly in real time. The Wi-Fi network connects the various devices on the sales floor with the computer systems in the background. With iBeacon, the retailer can give customers targeted information about specific products and promotions through an app. The information is displayed on a smartphone when the person reaches a specific position in the store.

The ESL Starter Kit by T-Systems is the admission ticket to digital retailing solutions. Today's consumers want to be able to shop from anywhere, at any time – both online and in physical shops. They are very well informed and share information in their social networks. The retail sector is responding to these developments with new communication methods, mobile buying incentives, innovative sales channels, and modern infrastructure at the point of sale. With the retail solutions from T-Systems, customers get the necessary certainty to plan and invest in a new infrastructure at the sales site.

The L-322E Wireless access point stands apart through its uninterrupted operation of Wi-Fi, wireless module for the electronic labels, and the iBeacon transmitter – all in one device. And all three use the 2.4 GHz frequency band. As a result, the additional wireless infrastructure formerly needed to control the e-paper displays can be eliminated. The efficiency, security, and availability of the Wi-Fi infrastructure are also enhanced. The REWE Group recently won the Retail Technology Award 2015 by the EHI Retail Institute for the deployment of this world premiere.

Experience our products and services live at CeBIT from March 16-20 at Deutsche Telekom's stand C26 in hall 4.
