All good things come in fours: Special Call & Surf Mobile - the 4-fold flat rate for unlimited calls, surfing and text messages

  • New tariff with flat rate for the Telekom mobile network and a selected network flat rate for an additional German mobile network
  • Simple flat rate for texts to all networks
  • Data flat rate for high-speed mobile surfing

From September 15, 2011, Deutsche Telekom mobile customers can combine four flat rates for mobile communication in one special low-cost tariff - the new Special Call & Surf Mobile. In addition to flat rates for sending text messages (SMS) to all German networks, for mobile surfing and calls to the Telekom mobile network, users can also book an additional flat rate for calls to another German mobile network. This way, users can contact family and friends for free in the additional network specified. The basic rate for the Special Call & Surf Mobile offer is EUR 29.95 per month. The new rate plan is ideally suited to the needs of users who use their cell phones and smartphones not only for making calls and sending text messages, but who also want to use them to receive and send emails or to access the internet. Therefore, in addition to the two telephone flat rates and the text message flat rate, a powerful data flat rate is the hallmark of the Special Call & Surf Mobile offer. With HSDPA bandwidths of up to 7.2 Mbit/s in the Deutsche Telekom network, which was rated best by Stiftung Warentest (German consumer protection organization), the flat rates guarantee fun when surfing on the go and are also applicable to email communications. The Special Call & Surf Mobile tariff, with a subscription period of 24 months, will initially be available until January 31, 2012. The basic rate of EUR 29.95 per month does not include a subsidized cell phone.
