Big data times six: solutions for analyzing mass data in real time

  • Solutions based on Hadoop and SAP HANA
  • Analyses are possible as a cloud service

T-Systems will be presenting six solutions based on big data technologies at CeBIT 2013. They make it possible for customers to analyze large, unstructured sets of data from a variety of sources and of different data types (such as video and social media portals) in nearly no time at all. The solutions demonstrate how real-time analysis is used in campaign management, financial monitoring, utility delivery, fleet management and networked vehicles. Campaign management lets you incorporate millions of tweets from around the world, for example, along with other social media data. Video and audio files can also be analyzed specifically for the occurrence of defined terms in a flash. T-Systems utilizes leading technologies for analyzing big data: both SAP HANA and Hadoop are used. SAP HANA offers extreme speed thanks to its special in-memory technology. Hadoop can process huge quantities of data, particularly unstructured data. The big data solutions from T-Systems are also available from the cloud. All services are rendered by cloud data centers in Germany, compliant with the particularly strict German data protection laws. Experience our products and services live at CeBIT from March 5-9 at the Deutsche Telekom stand C26 in hall 4. Deutsche Telekom's entire presence at the trade fair is carbon-neutral.
