Deutsche Telekom weather app www.wetter.info is one of the most popular
The free www.wetter.info app for iPhone and Android phones has been downloaded more than 500,000 times so far, making it one of the most downloaded apps in the German market. Half a million users can view up-to-date weather data for thousands of locations around the world at any time and from any location thanks to a network of around 1,200 weather stations in Germany alone and additional measuring stations from national weather services. wetter.info provides users with reliable and up-to-date weather information, either as a weather map or a weather video. Weather forecasts can be set up and accessed for the user's preferred locations.
Would it be better to go jogging or do some cooking? Thanks to the zoomable precipitation radar and the cloud/precipitation video, it is possible to accurately predict whether rain is expected where the user lives. In changeable seasons, this can be used to avoid getting caught out in the rain. The app also provides information on the wind direction and speed. It shows the humidity and provides weather forecasts for the next few days. The wetter.info team provides information on the current weather situation and forecasts in videos, and they report on special weather such as storm warnings, cold spells or record temperatures.
