T-Mobile launches completely renewed rate portfolio

• Clear and straightforward: two voice-rate lines with four rates each

T-Mobile is launching a completely renewed rate portfolio. In so doing, Germany’s leading mobile communications provider is focusing its voice rate offering on four Max Flat and four Relax core rates. The Max Flat line includes four different flat rates – from the Max Flat XS weekend flat rate for calls to the T-Mobile network and the German fixed network at a favorable price of EUR 4.95/month, to the all-inclusive, no-worries Max Flat L for all domestic networks, at a price of EUR 79.95. The new Relax minute budgets provide 20 percent more inclusive minutes for calls to all networks, which means more value for money. With the Combi Flat and Combi Relax rate lines, T-Mobile is the first mobile operator in Germany to offer a complete portfolio with integrated voice/data rates. They are specially tailored to smartphones, such as the new T-Mobile G1. The inclusive packages build on the new voice rates and offer further inclusive services for worry-free high-speed surfing and messaging. The new range of rates is rounded off with exceptionally good friends offers for young people, CombiCards and add-on options.

High-speed surfing, unlimited telephony, messaging and much more is already included in our new Combi rates."

Max Flat and Combi Flat: unlimited communication T-Mobile now offers an even wider choice for flat-rate customers requiring unlimited telephony. The basic rate, Max Flat XS, for unlimited weekend telephony to the T-Mobile network and German fixed network costs just EUR 4.95/month. A special feature of the Max Flat S at a monthly price of EUR 14.95: Customers can choose between a flat rate for the German fixed network or for the T-Mobile network. In both cases, the rate already includes the weekend flat rate for the respective other network. Anyone who wants to make calls at any time both to the fixed network and to the T-Mobile network at 0 cents per minute, should opt for the Max Flat M at EUR 29.95/month. For customers requiring unlimited calls, anytime and to any German network, T-Mobile offers the Max Flat L rate at EUR 79.95/month. Max Flat M and L already include T-Mobile@home – users can be reached in their T-Mobile@home area at the cheaper fixed-network costs. If customers book a Max Flat rate with a new, subsidized cell phone, this will only cost an additional EUR 10.00 per month. The monthly charge of EUR 14.95 for the Max Flat XS rate with cell phone already includes a call credit of EUR 7.00. Many customers also want to be able to forget about costs for high-speed surfing or messaging on their cell phones. That’s why T-Mobile provides the Combi rates, which build on the new voice rates and include additional inclusive services. In addition to the weekend flat rate to the T-Mobile network and German fixed network, the basic rate, Combi Flat XS, also includes a volume of 200 MB for mobile surfing via HSDPA, EDGE & Co. In addition to the optional flat rate for the German fixed network or the T-Mobile network, the Combi Flat S rate also offers a data flat rate for mobile surfing – also via WLAN at a HotSpot – and an SMS flat rate for the T-Mobile network. In addition to the services of the Max Flat M rate, Combi Flat M offers a data flat rate, an SMS and MMS flat rate for the T-Mobile network and the free-of-charge instant messaging chat service as an add-on feature. The Combi Flat L is the all-inclusive rate: Flat rate to all networks, data flat rate for mobile surfing, “quasi flat rate” for SMS plus 100 MMS to all networks, as well as free-of-charge instant messaging. Another bonus for all four Combi Flat rates: The MyPhonebook option for online saving and synchronization of contacts, tasks and appointments can be booked as an add-on free of charge. The monthly basic charge of EUR 24.95 (XS), EUR 44.95 (S), EUR 59.95 (M) and EUR 119.95 (L) includes a new, subsidized state-of-the-art cell phone.

Relax and Combi Relax: worry-free calling to all networks With the popular Relax rates, T-Mobile customers have for years been able to make calls to all domestic networks, month by month, using inclusive minute budgets – to the fixed network, T-Mobile network and all other mobile networks. In the newly arranged Relax quartet, each rate offers 20 percent more inclusive minutes at the same price as their predecessors. The basic offering is Relax 60 with 60 inclusive minutes at a price of EUR 9.95 per month. This is followed by Relax 120 at EUR 19.95/month, Relax 240 at EUR 29.95/month and Relax 1200 at EUR 59.95/month. This means mobile telephony from just 5 cents per minutes, to any network! As before, the new Relax rates also include the weekend flat rate, and checking voicemail messages in Germany continues to be free of charge. The specified prices apply for Relax without a cell phone; a subsidized cell phone at the time of contract completion costs an additional EUR 10.00/month. Also new with Relax: For each new Relax rate, there is a corresponding Combi rate with attractive inclusive features, e.g. a data flat rate and a HotSpot flat rate for worry-free high-speed surfing in the rates Combi Relax 120 at EUR 49.95/month, Combi Relax 240 at EUR 69.95/month and Combi Relax 1200 at EUR 89.95/month. Add to this monthly quotas of 40, 150 and 300 SMS as well as 5, 15 and 30 MMS to all German networks. In the Combi Relax 240 and 1200, an instant messaging flat rate can also be booked free of charge. The Combi Relax 60 rate at EUR 29.95/month has an inclusive data volume of 200 MB. In addition, Combi Relax customers can access MyPhonebook free of charge. The monthly basic charge also includes a new, subsidized state-of-the-art cell phone.

T-Mobile G1 from just EUR 1 From February 2, T-Mobile will offer the T-Mobile G1 to consumers in conjunction with a 24-month contract and the Combi Flat XS, S, M and L rates. In conjunction with the Combi Flat M and L rates, the G1 costs just EUR 1. New customers can pre-order the new T-Mobile G1 immediately, with a Combi Flat rate, at www.t-mobile.de/g1 .

Start of the new rate lines from February 2, 2009 T-Mobile is launching the new calling plans on February 2, 2009 with the new Max Flat and Combi Flat rates as well as the associated options. The Relax rates will follow on March 2, 2009. At the same time, T-Mobile will provide the new rates with corresponding adjustments for business customers. Contracts in the specified rates have a minimum term of 24 months, with a one-time provision fee of EUR 24.95. The flat rates and inclusive packages mentioned do not include calls to service and special numbers. The use of inclusive services, such as instant messaging and MyPhonebook, requires a suitably equipped cell phone. Depending on the rate selected, data flat rates in the Combi rates are subject to restrictions on the maximum bandwidth if volumes of 300 MB or 1 GB per month are used.
