T-Systems revamps the Baden-Württemberg Bank (LBBW) information portal

  • The latest market and product developments at a glance
  • A single technology platform as an information hub
  • Departments manage their own content

Link up the latest market data with product information: The T-Systems subsidiary Multimedia Solutions has worked together with Baden-Württemberg Bank to completely overhaul and enhance its LBBW Markets portal. Under http://www.lbbw-markets.de, the information portal now offers improved functionality, information and market data on one central platform. T-Systems has developed a flexible portal system for the new site that the bank can adapt to changing market situations quickly and easily without the need to invest in further development. Institutional investors, private customers and LBBW employees can all use the site to search for information on currencies, pension funds, certificates, and much more. Static content, background articles and information from LBBW's central product databases can be linked to data from external services such as Reuters or vwd. The scalable, high-performance platform allows the Bank to update and publish extensive market data rapidly. An intuitive user interface lets the individual departments at LBBW configure, edit and update portal contents, user accounts and access rights independently. The personalizable system also makes it possible to realize a target group-specific user strategy. This means that the visibility of content can be restricted according to, for example, the user's function, organizational unit or geographical origin. A powerful search function enables full-text searches to be performed in all content released for access. T-Systems managed the project from conception through to go-live, including implementation of the various software modules.
