- Spend Analyzer uses SAP HANA to evaluate mass data.
- Presentation of pilot operations at CeBIT.
T-Systems now offers a new reporting solution for the SAP environment. Known as the Spend Analyzer, it evaluates mass data in a matter of minutes instead of the whole day or several hours it took to complete the task to date. The data can be accessed via the web browser from a PC or a smartphone. T-Systems has modeled its Spend Analyzer development on the requirements of the Procurement business area. Strategic decision-makers or employees in operational sourcing can use it to evaluate large, complex volumes of data virtually in real time. Push-button reporting now makes it possible to react immediately to the latest business trends or to limited offers of fast payment and volume discounts from suppliers. This quantum leap in reporting is based on use of the latest in-memory technology from SAP, which is also the basis for SAP HANA* (High Performance Analytic Appliance). The technology enables fast and easy analysis of an enterprise's entire data. "The Spend Analyzer evaluates large volumes of data at lightning speed - irrespective of whether quality KPIs, production or sales figures are involved. The fast analysis of such fundamental data enables us to contribute to our customers' business success," says Ulrich Meister, member of the T-Systems Management Board and head of Systems Integration. * SAP HANA is a registered trademark of SAP AG. Live at CeBIT In a live presentation, visitors to CeBIT 2012 will see how an in-memory solution from T-Systems accesses and evaluates hundreds of millions of data records. The results will be available to visitors for immediate viewing.
