Cybersecurity is more important than ever before. Highly trained experts are needed to guarantee security for the Telekom Group and our customers. The sector is diverse and exciting. To demonstrate this and to highlight opportunities for those just starting out on their career, Telekom Security opened its doors to the SOC (Security Operations Center) to young IT professionals for an afternoon.
Around 60 graduates and students accepted the invitation to visit our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Bonn where they were able to learn more about job profiles and opportunities at Telekom Security. This also gave the participants the chance to gain an insight into a typical working day and our corporate culture.
What entry opportunities do we offer?
SOC analyst? Threat hunter? Security engineer? There are many ways to get started with us. Therefore, the experts presented their various fields of activity in several workshops. Recruiters were also there to offer advice on the wide range of job profiles at Telekom Security. Afterwards, there was plenty of time to ask the employees the right questions over pizza and drinks.

However, our greatest strength against cyberattacks is not technology – it’s our people. From developing a security strategy and finding vulnerabilities, to taking action in emergencies – their knowledge and expertise is essential.
