Protected by yourself

You decide on the use of your data. We make it easy for you to exercise this right: with easy-to-understand information and user interfaces that let you control how your data is used in a plain, simple way. In addition, we develop products that protect your data fully automatically.

Protected by yourself

You always keep full control over the protection of your data.

What rights do you have as a customer?

Data privacy is your fundamental right. This means you alone decide whether and how we are allowed to use your data. And even if you've granted consent for us to use it, your personal information remains under your own control.

You have the right to request information about the extent and use of your data at any time, as well as demand corrections and deletions or revoke a consent you have granted. And no one can charge you a single cent for this. And that's good!

Contact

A number of different communication channels are available. The options most preferred by our customers are listed below:

How do we help you to protect your data?

We have integrated opt-out or opt-in solutions in many of our products.

Opt-out means that usage data is transmitted by default but can be disabled at any time simply by swiping or ticking a box. Opt-in means that usage data will not be transmitted unless you expressly consented to it, which means that no pre-ticked boxes are being used.

If you have not yet used these options, but would like to do so, you can do that at any time by using our Opt-out Service.

The cookies we are using on our websites work according to these principles. When you access one of these sites for the first time, you will always be asked for your consent to the storage of cookies. All the cookies that are not necessary for using the site can be switched of here.

Cookie Settings: You can view your cookie settings at any time to manage your preferences.

And sometimes even our products themselves protect your privacy. Like our newest router models. They change your IP addresses continually, making it difficult for website operators to track your activities on the Internet.

Where can you find additional information about data privacy and protection?

Transparency is important to us. Instead of quoting dry legal texts, we want to make things as clear for you as possible. That's why we have summarized all relevant data privacy information on a single page. We also work with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) to provide information about current risks and how to protect your data in your everyday digital lives: Digitally secure. Additionally we have published our own series of data privacy tips. After all, any information we have, you should have as well.
