A Hackathon at Telekom? What is that? A Hackathon is a "programming competition". The aim is to develop a finished prototype software on a specific topic within a given time. On 19th and 20th September it is all about "Smart Public Life"/Smart City.

And here the winning solutions...in third place is the project 'Pollution Butler' - a solution which measures outside factors such as air quality or noise level around you. Congratulations! By the way: All awards have been printed with a 3D printer of Telekom Design Gallery.
In second place we have 'Be on Track'- a solution which helps to track and find missing persons, such as kids, elderly or handicapped people - possibly saving lives in the process. Congratulations!
The overall winner is the 'Smart City Hub' - an extremely helpful solution which makes it easy for citizens to access what their city has to offer. Via an app, you can find the latest bus or train info and also buying a ticket, or you can locate your nearest restaurant. You can also renew your ID card or passport online, or find out where to vote in local or national elections. Congratulations to all teams and thanks for taking part!
