Finding a parking spot is part and parcel of driving, especially in cities. Deutsche Telekom offers a new, end-to-end service – an advanced platform concept and open marketplace for local government, parking space operators, and drivers.
This smart parking solution is a digital parking space management for an enhanced driver experience – a simple, reliable, end-to-end solution. The solution models the entire parking process: FIND, BOOK, PARK and PAY.
For drivers the service is available via a smartphone app – enhancing the driving experience at the push of a button, they can find, book, park and pay easily and conveniently – and saving time.
The complete solution seamlessly integrates components of a smartphone app, NB-IoT sensor technology, city platform, data transmission network, and back-end. It comprises connectivity, sensors and the multi-IoT service platform. NB-IoT sensors maximize the service quality through accurate prediction and best quality of service.
Since October 2017 drivers can use the service in Hamburg, more cities follow in 2018.
