T-Mobile Czech Republic has operated on the Czech market since 1996. With its almost 6.3 million customers it is the number-one operator among three global players. T-Mobile provides outstanding services via its high-speed network, which was proved repeatedly by benchmark testing performed by umlaut (former P3) with Best-in-Test seal.

During more than 20 years T-Mobile brought a lot of innovative services and solutions for B2C and B2B customers and has a reputation as a telecommunication pioneer. T-Mobile constantly strives to improve its network and implement the newest technology. LTE network was available to 99.2 percent of the Czech Republic's population by the end of 2019. 

Road to gigabit society – fiber network

T-Mobile is actively taking part in digitization of the Czech Republic. Therefore, the company intensively focuses on the roll-out of own high-quality and accessible fiber network and plans to cover 1,000,000 Czech households with fiber network access by the end of 2025. 

Offerings for business customers

As an integrated operator, the company offers both mobile and fixed-network services and a comprehensive portfolio of IT services and system integration solutions for business customers and state authorities. In 2019 T-Mobile has started a long-term cooperation with the Technical University of Ostrava for the rollout of the first 5G campus network in the Czech Republic.

Offerings for consumers

T-Mobile offers simple, appealing access to the most advanced communication services – mobile networks and fixed/fiber internet access, including TV services via IPTV or SAT TV. The focus on the best customers´ experience results in a growing customer base. The number of mobile customers reached nearly 6.3 million, fixed broadband 320,000, TV 149,000 by the end of 2019.

Facts and Outlook

In 2019, Total revenues from mobile and fixed-line services including hardware sales approached 28.3 billion Czech Koruna which represents 3.8 percent year-on-year increase. These results confirm the company’s good performance and its position as the number-one operator on the Czech market.
