First Collective Bargaining Agreement at T-Mobile USA

A first ever collective bargaining agreement was signed between the CWA and T-Mobile USA on October 23, 2012. It covers a small unit of 16 employees in Connecticut who voted for union representation on July 19, 2011.

Negotiations commenced in September of 2011, and the tentative agreement was reached on July 28, 2012. The membership ratified the agreement on July 31, 2012. The agreement with the CWA consists of terms and conditions of employment which are similar to those currently enjoyed by other non-represented T-Mobile US employees. The contract includes a performance-based compensation system, health insurance plans, disability insurance, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, paid time off, phone benefits, employee assistance program, and education reimbursement. The agreement term is July 31, 2012, through May 31, 2014.
