Now DT has received this title for the second time in a row.

For the second year in a row, the U.S. Institute Ethisphere recognized Deutsche Telekom as one of the world's leading companies in ethics. Last year, Deutsche Telekom took part in the survey for the first time and immediately won this important ethics prize. Now DT has received this title for the second time in a row. Once again, Deutsche Telekom is the sole winner in Germany. With this award, the Institute of Ethics honors outstanding achievements by companies with the highest ethical competence.

"For the second time in a row, I am proud to be among the world's most ethical companies. It is an award for our work in recent years, in which we have dealt intensively with value-based behavior," says Manuela Mackert, Chief Compliance Officer at Deutsche Telekom.

Ethisphere is a global leader in defining and promoting standards for ethical business practices. Since 2007, the Arizona-based institute has honored companies that are aware of their important role in influencing and driving positive change in business and society worldwide, while maximizing its impact.

Five main categories were examined, which were included in the evaluation with the following weighting: Criteria for compliance and ethics program (35 percent), ethics and corporate culture (20 percent), as well as governance (15 percent) and leadership and reputation (10 percent).
