  • T-Mobile's new Mobile TV service: LIGA total! to exclusively broadcast all 1st and 2nd Bundesliga matches live to cell phones and notebooks
  • Attractive Mobile TV soccer package available for up to twelve months free-of-charge
  • More new offers for Bundesliga fans: VideoTicker and match summaries as MobileVideo

Always on the ball while you're on the move: T-Mobile customers will be right there in the thick of the action when Germany's top soccer players kick off the 2009/2010 season in early August. With the LIGA total! Mobile TV package they can watch all 1St and 2nd Bundesliga matches live on UMTS-capable cell phones – and soon also on notebooks and netbooks. In addition to the live transmissions of the complete matches, the package also contains a live conference channel. T-Mobile is the only network operator in Germany that broadcasts 1st and 2nd Bundesliga matches live to cell phones. T-Mobile is also launching further Bundesliga services: the VideoTicker and a mobile video-on-demand service.

Free trial T-Mobile is celebrating the starting whistle of LIGA total! with attractive pro-motional offers. Customers who book the Mobile TV soccer package in addition to a T-Mobile contract by September 30, 2009, will be able to use LIGA total! for a month free of charge. Soccer fans who buy an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS with a 24-month term contract combined with the tariffs Complete 120, 240, 1200, S, M or L will get a particularly good deal. For them, LIGA total! is included in the price for the first twelve months. In addition, they can also watch the basic Mobile TV package free of charge until August 17, 2009. The LIGA total! and basic package will be free for all other iPhone 3G customers until 17 August 2009. All Deutsche Telekom customers who have booked the LIGA total! HD option in addition to their Entertain package can experience and enjoy the Bundesliga while on the move for a year at no extra cost – if they are also T-Mobile customers. The Mobile TV channels from LIGA total! deliver the same picture and sound signal as the live broadcasts on T-Home Entertain. The LIGA total! Mobile TV package will be available via many cell-phone models from the 2009/2010 season. These include not only the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS, but also the T-Mobile G1 and the T-Mobile G2 Touch. T-Mobile customers will also soon be able to watch Mobile TV on their netbooks and notebooks, if they access via the T-Mobile cell-phone network. Beside the LIGA total! Mobile TV package, T-Mobile customers also have access to more pay-channel packages – the basic Mobile TV package with news, sport, music, comedy, cartoons and series, and the erotic package (not on the iPhone). It's easy to try out mobile TV for free with the Kostnix channel. Users of all packages are benefiting from the significant improvements in quality which T-Mobile introduced in the spring of 2009 (see press release on mobile TV).

LIGA total! with Mobile TV: monthly subscription or day access The above promotional offers apply if customers book the new LIGA total! Mobile TV package by September 30, 2009. The regular price of EUR 4.95 per month for LIGA total! will then be due after the one- or twelve-month free-use phase expires. No charge will be made during the months of June and July, when no matches are played. Customers can cancel their subscription at any time by giving notice to the end of any calendar month. A 24-hour day access to LIGA total! costs EUR 1.95. No additional charge is made for data transmission in the case of Mobile TV. UMTS network coverage and a UMTS cell phone or notebook that supports this service are needed to use Mobile TV. Mobile TV is only available in the network of T-Mobile Germany in conjunction with a T-Mobile (term or prepaid) contract. Video and ticker services for UMTS and EDGE In addition to LIGA total! on Mobile TV, T-Mobile plans to launch its new Bundesliga VideoTicker at the start of the new season. A ticker will provide a continuous text commentary on every match. It will be linked to video clips showing the main match scenes. T-Mobile will provide up to 30 videos lasting between 30 and 90 seconds for every match. The price will be EUR 1.95 per match including transmission costs.

T-Mobile will also offer summaries of each match and the day's highlights as a video-on-demand service. The price will be EUR 1.29 per video including transmission costs. The VideoTicker and MobileVideo are streaming services compatible with most UMTS and EDGE devices – so they also function outside regions supplied by UMTS.
