For the third time in a row Deutsche Telekom has been recognized as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services with its corporate customer arm T-Systems cited as well.  Deutsche Telekom improved its position in the Leaders Quadrant compared to the previous year. Gartner evaluated against the two strategic axes “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute”. Gartner states that “managed M2M services span management of connectivity, IoT edge devices, sensor data and basic analytics,” adding that“some providers have expanded into IoT platforms as a service.”

“We believe Gartner‘s recognition of Deutsche Telekom as a global leader for managed M2M services for the third consecutive time underlines our strategy to be a full-service IoT/M2M provider. Together with our tier-one partners, we have made significant progress in offering our customers a complete IoT/M2M environment, from connectivity and device management, to IoT platforms and data analytics, including also our simple and secure IoT starter kits,” says Alexander Lautz, Senior Vice President, Machine-to-Machine, Deutsche Telekom.
