"The new logically structured portfolio will provide a major boost for connected life on the move," says Christian Illek, Managing Director of Marketing, Telekom Deutschland GmbH. "We are offering every customer group our mobile services at clear, attractive prices, irrespective of whether they just want to make calls or wish to use the full range of our services. Whatever the case, we offer top service, the best equipment and excellent network quality, representing great value for money."
Call - worry-free calling The four rates available with this Call line are perfect for customers who mainly want to use their cell phone for making calls. The Call rates all include a weekend flat rate for unlimited calls within the Telekom mobile network and to the German fixed network at weekends. The entry-level tariff, Call XS, which costs EUR 4.95 per month, also includes 30 minutes of calls to any network in Germany. The Call S package offers four times as many inclusive minutes - 120 minutes - at a cost of EUR 14.95 per month. Call M, which comes at a monthly price of EUR 24.95, also allows customers to choose between a round-the-clock flat rate for either the German fixed network or the Telekom mobile network. The fourth raete in this line, Call L, which costs EUR 34.95 per month, offers two flat rates at once – for both the German fixed network and the Telekom mobile network. Call S, Call M and Call L all include 120 minutes of calls each month to the networks not covered by flat rates. These prices do not include a subsidized device. An additional EUR 10 per month is charged in each of the rates for a subsidized cell phone.
Complete Mobil - high-speed and lots more Telekom has bundled many more inclusive services in the Complete Mobil rates - for example flat rates, minute budgets, SMS packages and, above all, flat rates for the mobile high-speed Internet: all four variants of Complete Mobil allow unlimited surfing in the Telekom network at HSPA speeds, in other words at up to 7.2 Mbit/s. Also included is unlimited WLAN use at the many thousands of Telekom HotSpots in Germany. Both data flat rates can be used not just with the smart phone or BlackBerry, but also with a laptop of tablet PC. All Complete Mobil tariffs - S, M, L and XL - include the weekend flat rate and a 120-minute budget for all networks in Germany. In the case of Complete Mobil M, customers can choose between a flat rate for the German fixed network or for the Telekom mobile communications network in Germany, while Complete Mobil L contains both telephone flat rates, and Complete Mobil XL includes the flat rate for all networks in Germany. In addition, the rates also include SMS packages, such as 40 SMS messages to all German networks with Complete Mobil S and 3,000 SMS messages to all German networks with Complete Mobil XL. Complete Mobil L and XL provide Internet telephony capabilities at no extra charge. The monthly charges are EUR 29.95 (S), EUR 39.95 (M), EUR 49.95 (L) and EUR 89.95 (XL) without a subsidized mobile device. Complete rates including a new smart phone cost an additional EUR 10 per month. Other services, offers and new add-on options In addition, Telekom also offers two CombiCard packages in the Call and Complete Mobil rate lines. All three rate lines have three Friends rates for young customers, enabling them to save up to EUR 10 per month compared with the standard tariff. To enable customers to put together their own customized service package, many rates offer both tried-and-tested and new add-on options. These include minute packages for calls to all German networks and from abroad, SMS packages, mobile daytime flat rates and mobile flat rates for mobile surfing and e-mailing, BlackBerry options and a Speed option for using HSPA with bandwidths up to 14.4 Mbit/s. All rates include the attractive Smart Traveller roaming option. This means that the inclusive minutes can be used for calls from countries in Group 1 - EU and Switzerland. Complete XL includes an additional 120 minutes for this. All rates also include the free MyPhonebook option, which enables users to save and synchronize contacts, tasks and appointments online.
The new rate lines replace the previous range of services; Telekom is launching the new portfolio for consumers on November 3, 2010. Corresponding offers for business customers are in preparation. Contracts in the specified rates have a minimum term of 24 months, with a one-off provision charge of EUR 24.95. The inclusive flat rates and minutes packages do not include calls to service numbers or special numbers. The use of inclusive services such as MyPhonebook requires a cell phone that supports these features.
