New Deutschland TelePresence locations: Lindner Business Hotels now offering top-quality live conferencing

  • The innovative service, provided by Deutsche Telekom and Cisco, is now available for the first time in a major business-hotel chain
  • Deutschland TelePresence is available in Lindner Hotels in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg and the Nürburgring motorsport complex

The Deutschland TelePresence network, for top-quality live conferencing, continues to grow: as of July 2010, the Lindner Business Hotels in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg and the Nürburgring motorsport complex will begin offering the innovative service. As a result, Deutschland TelePresence is becoming available for the first time in a business-hotel chain with locations throughout Germany. The Deutschland TelePresence service, provided by the technology partners Deutsche Telekom and Cisco, enables hotel guests to conduct high-quality, long-distance live conferences. With the Deutschland TelePresence technology, widely separated participants not only can see and hear each other as if they were sitting in the same room, they can also show each other presentations and edit Office documents together. Large, high-definition monitors and excellent sound systems and acoustics create a highly productive working environment.

By using Deutschland TelePresence in a Lindner Business Hotel, companies can simplify and accelerate their own internal communications and their information exchanges with business partners and customers. In the process, they save time and money normally used for travel expenses and reduce their CO2 emissions. By providing Deutschland TelePresence, Lindner Hotels is once again demonstrating its innovation leadership in the business-hotel sector. Lindner was the first hotel group to install wireless LAN HotSpots in all its hotels and resorts. And Lindner Hotels were early leaders in equipping hotel rooms with broadband fixed-network lines for high-speed Internet. With Deutschland TelePresence, Lindner Hotels have become a top hotel choice for all business people who need to be able to engage in live conferencing with partners throughout the world.

Deutsche Telekom invites its business customers to use the Deutschland TelePresence service both for their own needs and for optimizing and enhancing their own customer service. Deutschland TelePresence is available in a range of different versions. Each version is a complete package that comprises all relevant services, including planning, installation and operation. More specifically, packages include a broadband Internet access, the TelePresence System (from Cisco), an operator service, a reservation system, a high-performance security system and all installation, operation and maintenance. All components mesh perfectly, enabling customers to use the service simply and easily at the push of a button.
