  • Optimized for Entertain all-in-one packages
  • Secure and easy-to-install WLAN connection between DSL router and media receiver
  • Transmission rate of up to 300 megabits per second

Internet-based TV (IPTV) via your broadband line, convenient, without complex cabling: With the new Speedport W 101 Bridge, Deutsche Telekom offers a practical add-on device for TV reception with any of the Entertain all-in-one packages. The high-performance WLAN Bridge, which comes in an elegant piano lacquer case, simplifies installation of the required devices by establishing a high-speed wireless connection between the DSL router and the media receiver. The device thus offers Entertain customers an easy alternative to connecting their viewing devices to their broadband line.

The W 101 Bridge uses WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) technology to provide a wireless connection between the DSL router and a media receiver, such as the MR 100, MR 300 or MR 301. The DSL router and WLAN Bridge can be configured at the touch of a button. Thanks to the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), the Bridge automatically creates a secure, encrypted wireless connection. Wireless data transmission is provided on the basis of the WLAN standard IEEE 802.11 n, with a transmission rate of up to 300 megabits per second. This ensures a consistently high data rate and interference-free reception of TV programs over the broadband line.

The Speedport W 101 Bridge is of course downward compatible with the older WLAN transmission standards IEEE 802.11b and g. The media receiver and other network-compatible devices, such as PCs or games consoles, can be connected to the Bridge via two LAN ports. Other devices, such as laptops, can be connected via WLAN. The state-of-the-art WLAN Bridge is designed for TV programs in HD, transmitting data on a 5 GHz frequency band to your Speedport.

The Speedport W 101 Bridge package includes all necessary connection cables, the plug-in power supply and a wall bracket. The Speedport W 101 Bridge is now available from all Deutsche Telekom shops, the online shop at www.t-home.de, by calling the order hotline on 0800 33 03000, or from Deutsche Telekom sales partners for EUR 149.99 or as part of a terminal-device service package for EUR 2.95 per month.
