T-Mobile launches new Smart Traveller roaming option

• Smart Traveller enables business customers to make calls in EU countries and Switzerland at particularly competitive rates
• Relax Business and Combi Relax Business inclusive minutes can be used for international calls
• Additional options for Asia in the pipeline

Cheap mobile calls while outside Germany: The new Smart Traveller roaming option enables T-Mobile business customers to make substantial savings while making mobile calls in European Union countries and Switzerland. For example, the option makes it possible to use the inclusive minutes in the Relax Business and Combi Relax Business calling plans when traveling abroad. Users of other calling plans, such as the new Max Flat and Combi Flat Business, can make calls while outside Germany at a particularly favorable per-minute price. T-Mobile also in-tends to introduce compelling options for mobile voice and data communications in Asia in the course of the year.

Substantial savings The Smart Traveller option can be bolted on free of charge to all current business voice calling plans as an alternative to the T-Mobile Weltweit option. Users of the Relax minute packages can therefore use up the in-clusive minutes they have not used in Germany while outside the country – for calls within the host country and to Germany. They only need to pay an additional charge of 63 euro cents net for each call. As such, customers with Combi Relax Business pay just 63 euro cents net when using their minute budget for a 10-minute call from Switzerland to Germany. Anyone using another calling plan, say BusinessProfi, pays just 12 euro cents net for each call minute to Germany and within the country they are visiting, plus the one-time call charge. A 10-minute mobile call from the U.K. to Germany costs just EUR 1.83 net. Smart Traveller customers can also benefit from further competitive prices, with a one-time charge for incoming calls of just 63 euro cents net up to the 60th minute, and a 16 euro cents/minute from the 61st minute. Appealing new options for Asia T-Mobile is reducing the costs of voice and data communication, with two new Asia options in selected countries including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, India and Russia. The Asia Voice option costs just EUR 1.25 net per minute for incoming and outgoing calls. An additional EUR 2.10 net is charged per call for outgoing calls. For data communication in the countries listed, business customers can use the Asia DayPass, which offers 50 MB for the attractive price of EUR 25.16 net.
