Telekom launches affordable data flat rates for prepaid customers
- Xtra Handy DayFlat: Surf and send e-mails on the move for only 99 cents per day
- Xtra Handy Flat: Use the Internet on your prepaid cellphone for EUR 9.95 a month
Good news for Telekom prepaid customers who want to use their cellphone or smartphone to surf the Internet and send e-mails. With Xtra Handy DayFlat and Xtra Handy Flat, Telekom now offers two attractive options for your connected life on the move. Xtra customers can surf, send e-mails and network just as flexibly as making phone calls. And they get all the advantages of a flat rate. They only have to pay once a day or once a month for care-free, convenient Internet access. The two new offers are perfect for smartphones and will be available as of February 1, 2011. The Xtra Handy DayFlat option is the perfect introduction to mobile surfing. It is ideal for prepaid customers who only use their cellphone occasionally to go online. Customers can use the Internet at speeds of up to 384 kbit/s with Xtra Handy DayFlat. The daily rate is 99 cents; the flat rate is good for one calendar day, from 12 a.m. to 12 a.m. Xtra Handy DayFlat is included in the new Xtra Card rates, Xtra Nonstop and Xtra Click, each of which comes with an initial credit of 15 euros. The option can also be added to all other Xtra rates. Xtra Handy Flat provides Telekom prepaid customers who want to surf online and send e-mails more often with trouble-free Internet enjoyment. A monthly price of only EUR 9.95 guarantees complete control of your costs. Users can access the Internet on their smartphone or cellphone at UTMS speeds, i.e., with a bandwidth of up to 384 kbit/s. Xtra Handy Flat can be added to both the latest and all earlier Xtra rates. Deutsche Telekom at CeBIT 2011 - see you there! You will find us in hall 4, stand D26.
