Get the forecast – any time, any place. www.wetter.info, the weather portal of Deutsche Telekom and Meteomedia, the weather service established by Jörg Kachelmann, is now available as an app for iPhone and iPod touch.

Wherever you happen to be - the free wetter.info app provides you with details of weather conditions, wind direction and speed, the likelihood of rain, humidity and, of course, the weather for the next six days. Thanks to the extensive network of around 1,200 weather stations in Germany alone and access to the measurements of national weather services, weather data can be requested for thousands of locations worldwide.

Weather maps of all countries worldwide are available for trip-planning purposes. The rainfall radar with zoom function and the cloud/rainfall video also let you know whether you can leave your umbrella and rubber boots at home when making a short trip or carrying out everyday activities.

Just like at www.wetter.info, moderators from the Kachelmann team keep weather enthusiasts updated via the iPhone app. The "Weather studio", "Weekend weather" and "Weather extra" video formats provide concise information about current weather conditions and forecasts, as well as details of special weather events, such as a cold spell or record temperatures.

The wetter.info app is now available for downloading free from the App Store www.itunes.com/appstore/
