Our customers, our shareholders, the regulatory authorities and the public rightly expect us to handle the data entrusted to us by our business partners, customers and employees with care. And we do everything in our power to fulfill this expectation. Trust in ourselves and in what we do is an important aspect that accompanies us in our daily work and in the development of new business models. 

With our global data privacy organization, we are constantly working to provide a transparent and high level of data privacy in all our companies. As far as legally possible, the companies of the Deutsche Telekom Group have also committed themselves to the Binding Corporate Rules Privacy (pdf, 373.4 KB), which are designed to ensure a uniformly high level of data privacy for our products and services.

When developing new solutions, we rely on a widely implemented "privacy-by-design" process, DT's own "Privacy and Security Assessment". The users of our solutions should retain control over the use of their data at all times. This includes educating them about how data-driven business models work and how customers can exercise their digital sovereignty. You can find all this here on our web pages.
