The Telekom “Digital Ethics Conference” will take place on March 13. The event highlights the opportunities and challenges of artificial Intelligence (AI) from a technological, economic and social perspective. High-level speakers like Prof. Sarah Spiekermann-Hoff, Prof. Dirk Helbing or Orna Berry will offer insights and outlooks.

AI is increasingly making decisions that directly affect our lives. It is therefore up to us to develop the right framework for this instrument and to assume a new digital responsibility. Deutsche Telekom is convinced that social acceptance in AI can only grow if there is a social exchange about how this technology is used. At the same time, a responsible AI can become an important competitive advantage.

To understand this technology and to conduct a rational debate away from myths, Deutsche Telekom will host the "Digital Ethics Conference" on March 13, 2019. The event highlights the opportunities and challenges of AI from a technological, economic and social perspective. Top-class speakers from IT, business and science provide insights and insights into their work.

Together with you, we will discuss the following questions in the setting of keynotes, break-out sessions and a panel discussion:

  • Today and tomorrow: What can AI do and what not?
  • Top ethical dilemmas: When AI goes wrong
  • Impact of AI on society: Responsibility & Challenge
  • Frame: Should AI be controlled and if so, how?
  • Bottom-Line: The Economic Benefit of Digital Ethics

The Digital Ethics Conference takes place in cooperation with the 1st CYBER SECURITY TECH SUMMIT EUROPE (more info).
