Top rankings for Deutsche Telekom and T-Systems

The global research and advisory firms Gartner and Information Services Group again rank Deutsche Telekom and its corporate customer subsidiary T-Systems as leaders in IoT and M2M.

Gartner Magic Quadrant

For the 5th time in a row, Gartner has evaluated Deutsche Telekom including T-Systems as a Leader in their recent Magic Quadrant for Managed M2M Services 2018. Gartner analyzed 16 global vendors. Deutsche Telekom sees the Gartner findings as renewed validation of its overall experience, delivery and execution, business outcomes and services capabilities in the fields of M2M and IoT.

Deutsche Telekom considers several competencies to be critical to its positioning as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. First, its complete managed IoT platform, including data management and a modularized analytics stack that improves time to market. Second, several IoT packages are available to customers, including a starter kit, industrial machine monitoring and asset tracking. Third, customers value Deutsche Telekom’s M2M and IoT software integration services and related help desk service capabilities. And last but not least, Deutsche Telekom is consistently ranked among the top tier of providers in terms of positive customer feedback.

ISG Provider Lens Study 2019

In its latest study for 2019 the Information Services Group (ISG) rates Deutsche Telekom together with T-Systems as a leading IoT provider in the categories of IoT Platforms and IoT Starter Kits, as well as in the categories of Connected Car and Logistics. In the building automation category, Deutsche Telekom together with T-Systems achieved a market challenger position for its newly built capabilities in this field.

According to ISG, Deutsche Telekom achieved this excellent rating because of its strong IoT commitment, capabilities and partnerships. The company provides customers with successfully tested use cases to set up their own tailored scenarios. These range from connected car solutions to asset tracking, predictive maintenance to automated logistics and the Cloud of Things. The company is also a trusted IoT platform brand with its security infrastructure including secure network communication and cloud hosting “made in Germany”.
