At the IFA PreView, T-Mobile presents attractive innovations for mobile communications, information and entertainment. At the beginning of August the second Android-based cell phone will be launched: the T-Mobile G2 Touch. This makes T-Mobile the only provider to have two cell phone models with this innovative operating system in its handset portfolio. One distinctive quality of the T-Mobile G2 Touch is that it can be almost completely personalized. The functionality of the cell phone can be individually extended with the various applications of Android Market™.

When Germany’s top soccer players kick off the 2009/2010 season, T-Mobile customers can be there directly. With the Mobile TV package, LIGA total!, you can receive all the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga matches live via UMTS. In addition to the direct transmissions for the full 90 minutes, the package also includes a live conference channel. T-Mobile is the only network operator in Germany to transmit the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga matches live on cell phones. For new customers with an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS, LIGA total! is included in the first twelve months.

In addition, T-Mobile has expanded and improved the range of MobileTV. This in the basic package, new channels are available, existing programs correspond more and more to the actual range of TV programs. Further more, T-Mobile now provides Mobile TV for the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS, for the Android-based mobiles T-Mobile G1 and T-Mobile G2 Touch, and in future also for netbooks and laptops. The service also already has been offering a considerably improved picture and sound quality since April 2009.

With the MobileNavigator software, T-Mobile customers can transform Android and Windows mobile-based smartphones into handy, efficient navigation systems. Depending on the map you use, the NAVIGON solution ensures you optimum orientation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland or anywhere else in Europe. MobileNavigator from NAVIGON is available from August for the T-Mobile G1 and the T-Mobile G2 Touch. For a number of smartphones using the Windows Mobile operating system, the solution is already available. Furthermore, the Apple iPhone can also be transformed into a convenient signpost provider. MobileNavigator is available for downloading to all 3G and 3GS iPhones with the new OS 3.0 operating system in the App Store.
