Deutsche Telekom successfully placed approximately15 percent stake in Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (MTS) in the capital markets today. Following increased demand the offer was increased by around three percent from originally around 12 percent. The total proceeds were approximately US-Dollar 1.73 billion.
Deutsche Telekom still holds about 10 percent in MTS.
