Rodrigo Diehl, born in 1975, holds German and Argentine citizenship and has been a Board of Management member responsible for Germany and Spokesperson for the Management Board of Telekom Deutschland GmbH since March 1, 2025.
Since October 2022, he had served as CEO of Magenta Austria, Deutsche Telekom's Austrian subsidiary. During this time, he helped advance the expansion of 5G and fiber-optic networks. Before that, he was responsible for Deutsche Telekom's European consumer business.
Before joining Telekom, Rodrigo Diehl worked for five years at the Miami-based telecommunications company Millicom. He initially served as Executive Vice President, responsible for day-to-day operations and strategy (Chief Strategy Officer). Before joining Deutsche Telekom, he was CEO of Millicom's national company in Panama for two and a half years.
Rodrigo Diehl spent many years as a partner in the telecommunications, media, and technology division at management consulting firm McKinsey. He worked for the consulting firm for 13 years, including an extended period in Germany. Diehl graduated with honors in business administration from the University of Buenos Aires and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
