Compared with conventional data centers, Microsoft Cloud is significantly more energy efficient.
Everphone (Category 2 – Circular Economy)
Business customers rent devices instead of buying them, and Everphone then moves them into a second or even third life cycle. Through this innovative new business model, Everphone delivers circular economy benefits such as longer device lifespans, resource and energy savings, and a refurbishment rate of 98 percent.
Juniper’s Power Steering (Category 3 – Innovation / Potential Game Changer)
The solution analyzes network utilization throughout the day and identifies where capacity can be temporarily reduced without affecting the customer experience. The innovation project demonstrated potential to save energy and improve network efficiency.
