Dr. Abdurazak Mudesir, born in 1981, citizenship German, has been a member of Deutsche Telekom’s Board of Management since October 2025. He is responsible for the Board area Product and Technology, which includes the technology strategy and its execution. He focuses on digital transformation, the impact of new technologies like artificial intelligence on business models, our work and lives, technology and product innovation, as well as IT transformation, security and crisis management.
Before joining the Board of Management, Abdu Mudesir was Group Chief Technology Officer of Deutsche Telekom AG, leading Technology Strategy, Architecture & Innovation, as well as Strategic Vendor Management. In addition, he was Managing Director of Technology for Telekom Germany. Prior to these roles, he served as Senior Vice President Services & Platforms and Group Chief Architect.
Before joining Deutsche Telekom in April 2018, he worked for Huawei Technologies as Vice President of 5G Europe. Earlier in his career, he held various leadership positions in technology and telecommunications.
Abdu Mudesir holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from International University Bremen and completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University in California.
